The National Cancer Institute recently estimated that missed screenings during the pandemic will result in well over 10,000 additional deaths from breast and colorectal cancer over the next decade. And that’s just for two cancer types. Each day in the U.S., nearly 1,700 people die from cancer, and three times that number learn they have it.
