Peoples Health was the only Medicare Advantage company in Louisiana named one of U.S. News & World Report’s Best Medicare Advantage Plans for 2018, an exclusive ranking, released Oct. 16, of the country’s top health plans. Peoples Health was included not only because its plans are rated 4.5 out of 5 stars by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), but also because the company maintained consistent quality across all of its plans, as evaluated by U.S. News & World Report.
The ranking is created using CMS data and is designed, according to U.S. News & World Report, to help Medicare beneficiaries “navigate the options and get the right medical coverage.”
