In 2016, employees donated nearly 700 hours volunteering at company-sponsored events to support a wide variety of organizations.
The company proudly supports volunteer programs at East Jefferson General Hospital and The National WWII Museum. Volunteers in these programs serve as representatives of the organization and assist with day-to-day operations.
This week, Peoples Health is expressing gratitude to local volunteers at The National WWII Museum by:
• Providing refreshments and important community health information
• Setting up a photo booth for volunteers to take pictures and share on social media, as well as answering volunteer questions about using social media and technology
• Sponsoring a friendly competition of bean bag baseball, where volunteers who score a home run earn a prize
Institutions depend on volunteer support and, in turn, provide fulfilling opportunities to serve others and help build stronger, more connected communities.
