We're dedicated to maintaining and improving your health and well-being. In an effort to do this, we recommend the following services:
Men and Women
- Regular Primary Care Physician (definition) visits
- Annual influenza injections
- Pneumococcal injections every five to six years
- Cholesterol screening (every two years beginning at age 20)
- Blood pressure measurement (every two years, beginning at age 18)
- Sigmoidoscopy (every three to five years beginning at age 50)
- Stool for occult blood (annually after age 50)
Women Only
- Mammograms (every two years between the ages 40 - 51, annually after age 52)
- Annual Well Women visits
Men Only
- PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) test (beginning at age 50)
- Digital rectal exams (annually after age 40)
Diabetic Patients
- Glycosylated hemoglobin - HbA1c (every three months)
- Lipid profile (annually)
- Microalbuminuria (annually)
- Retinal eye exam (annually)
- Foot exam (annually)
- Blood sugar checks - check with your physician regarding the frequency of these checks
